Eagles Wings is a small organisation working amongst the poor in Zambia. Their aim is to transform the lives of children and their communities that are without hope by working with children, their families and the community to bring hope, education, renewal and justice through Jesus Christ.

Their education program focuses on both children and their families through schools, sponsorships and adult education. Quality education is a fundamental step for developing their community as a whole.

They also have a family program which works with families of street kids and abandoned or abused orphans in the hope of reintegrating them into a stable family unit.

Once a year Eagles Wings hosts a camp at Victoria Falls for 40 children that have suffered in their lives. They spend nine days of adventure and share in the Good News to make it an unforgettable experience that can change lives.

TheGrace and Eagles Wings

Through the education program TheGrace is supporting the Grade 1 class at the Christian Community School in Monkey Fountain.

This school was established after realising the need for quality Christian education within the poverty stricken communities. It specifically targets the poorest children, knowing they may never have the opportunity to attend school otherwise. The school empowers children and their families and is a major resource in developing the entire community.

Zambia

Zambia is a developing country with many social issues devastating the family and community. Extreme poverty and HIV/AIDS have eroded away the once strong extended family to the point where children now have to fend for themselves, leaving many to suffer in silence.

Through their education, family and camp programs Eagles Wings is making a real difference in the lives of children, families and communities. With increased resources and funds they can build bigger and better schools to accommodate more students, provide further assistance to families in crisis and build permanent camp facilities so that many more impoverished children can attend each year.
